A week before setting sail – surprise! – grandma was put onto insulin, needles and all. Beyond the worries of tinkering with glucose levels and the like was golly, is the dispenser by request, do we bring our own, or…?
Turns out Disney Cruise Lines thought ahead for folks like grandma, and we found all staterooms and restrooms aboard the ship (at least, every one I poked my head into – and the public ones, that was many) HAD sharps containers. Yea – and worries adverted.
Each stateroom also has a small red sharps container below the wash basin as well, already there – no need to plan to request it in advance.
